The redevelopment and extension to the Grade II listed BBC Broadcasting House was a major development in the heart of London 's West End . The planning problems were extremely challenging as the site is surrounded by 14 listed buildings including the Grade I listed All Souls Church .
Albion Stone provided 85m3 of stone for the project.
Portland Bowers Roach and Portland New Independent Whitbed were both supplied to Techrete for Stone on Precast panels & integration into the Mero Cladding System.

Albion Stone won three 'Awards', had two projects 'Highly Commended' and one 'Commendation' at the 13th Natural Stone Awards ceremony at the Millennium Mayfair Hotel in London . This project won the 'New Build (Modern Non Load Bearing Stone)' Award.
